Spring Dreams

Spring arrives on a
breath of clean mountain air,
renewing weary hearts and troubled minds.
Marshmallow clouds bring
bright imaginings across a
Carolina blue sky,
where a country girl can daydream
a lazy afternoon away.
Southern winds blow
winter mistakes to dust,
as sunshine warms cold skin,
and lights a path to a
brand new tomorrow.
