Celebrate Freedom

Rockets of freedom
explode on a velvet night.
Pretty, cascading multi-colors
rain down on the home of the brave,
telling the whole world
America is free.
God didn't create any of us
to be oppressed or enslaved;
that was the twisted idea
of Godless men who
haven't the faintest notion
what love means.
Bought with the blood and sweat,
tears and death of our soldiers,
we'll defend our country
to our last breath.
Waving our flags of
red, white and blue,
we vow to never forget or weaken,
and we'll celebrate independence
until the trumpet sounds
and God calls His faithful
soldiers home.
